No apps, no online ordering, no credit cards. Just a neighborhood bakery doing what it's done since 1908 — baking great bread and selling it to neighbors.

Everyday items

Walk-in purchases.

The vast majority of what we make is available as a walk-in purchase. Just come in during store hours, see what's in the case and on the shelves, and pick what you'd like.

  • No reservation needed. Walk-in only for standard items. First come, first served.
  • Arrive early. We bake in small batches. The best selection is always first thing in the morning — things sell out.
  • Cash and checks only. We do not accept credit cards, debit cards, or digital payments. Please plan ahead.
  • Ask us. Not sure what's fresh today? Just ask. We love talking about what came out of the oven.

Custom & special orders.

For anything beyond a walk-in purchase — custom cakes, large bread orders, or specific variety requests — just give us a call. We're a small operation and we appreciate the heads-up.

Custom Cakes

We make birthday cakes and occasion cakes to order. Call us to discuss your event, the size you need, and any special requests. We'll let you know what's possible and what lead time we need.

Large Bread Orders

Need a dozen loaves of our Cranberry Walnut Flax for a family gathering? A large quantity of dinner rolls for a catered event? Call ahead and we will do our best to accommodate.

To place a custom order:

Call us at (715) 623-4019 during store hours. We are open Tuesday through Friday 7 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday 7 AM to noon. We do not take orders by email or online — a phone call is the best way to reach us.

Payment for custom orders is also cash or check. We may ask for a deposit on large cake orders.
